        2.    Utah Department of Corrections
            
            
In the 1998 General Session the Department of Corrections requested $181,543,597 to support its new five-year plan. The Department will present its new plan with the prioritization of funds to fit within the appropriated amount of $172,218,200.

        3.    Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice

            
In order for the Legislature to fully utilize the resources offered by CCJJ, the commission will present some background information on its membership, purposes, duties, and resources available to the Legislature.

        4.    Master Study Resolution

            
Committee members will be invited to speak for or against potential study items in order to help prioritize the issues that will become the focus of the 1998 Interim. Afterward, the committee members will complete a survey, ranking the importance of the study items discussed.
