Information Technology Commission Membership
Salt Lake City, Utah_
Nominations are currently being accepted for four openings on the state Information Technology Commission. The commission is comprised of representatives from the three branches of government, the education community, the business sector, local government, and private citizens. Four-year terms of office will begin July 1, 1998.
The Information Technology Commission meets one to two times a month to consider issues related to the planning, coordination, use, and the expenditure of public money on information technology within Utah. Each meeting lasts two to three hours and is open to the general public. Policy recommendations and proposed legislation from the commission are submitted to the Legislature for consideration.
If you are interested in serving on the commission or have any questions, please send a letter of interest and resume to Richard C. North, Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, 436 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114.
