The Political Subdivisions Interim Committee discussed this issue in its May meeting and referred the issue to this task force. The study question is whether to require the advice and consent of the municipal council or legislative body with respect to the removal of department heads, officers and employees, commissions, boards, committees, and planning commission members (H.B. 457).
