9:20 3. Controlled Substance Database Access by Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations

As follow-up to discussion at its October 16 meeting, the committee will consider draft legislation that grants Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations access to the state's controlled substance database in order to support Medicaid's Restriction Program. The Restriction Program prevents excessive and other inappropriate use of Medicaid services by limiting a client to one primary care provider and one pharmacy.
