The chairs of the commission will explain the duties of the newly formed commission and describe their perception of the issues concerning the stewardship of public lands.

4:00 p.m. 3. Dialogue with County Officials

The purpose of holding this meeting in conjunction with the Utah State Association of County Commissioners and Councils Fall Conference is to discuss the needs and challenges of counties related to public lands management. To facilitate the discussion, the chairs of the commission request county officials to address the following topics related to the public lands within their county as they are today and as they were in the past: 1) the health and condition of the public lands; 2) the productivity of the public lands; and 3) access to the public lands.
