The Legislative Management Committee directed the committee to study the implementation of school grading. The committee will hear an update from the Utah State Office of Education on the grades for the 2013-14 school year and the methodology for calculating grades in future years.

3:30 p.m. 5. Report: Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind

Pursuant to Utah Code Section 53A-25b-201, the committee will receive a verbal report from the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, including information on student enrollment, participation in assessments, and achievement. A written report has been sent to committee members.
