Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.


MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2015 8:00 a.m. meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer and Rep. Roberts absent for the vote.

 

1st Sub. S.B. 164       Access to Health Care Amendments (Sen. B. Shiozawa)


Sen. Shiozawa distributed three handouts: "Who supports the Governor's Healthy Utah Plan?", "Healthy Utah 2.0", and "FY16 and FY17 Program Costs"and explained the bill assisted by Dr. David Patton, Department of Health; Greg Bell, Utah Hospital Association; and Dr. Vivian Lee, University of Utah College of Medicine.

H.B. 446         Extension of Primary Care Network and Medicaid Benefits Under Existing 70/30 Federal/state Cost Sharing Amendments (Rep. J. Dunnigan)


Rep. Dunnigan distributed two handouts: "Coverage Options, 0-138% FPL" and "Getting Started" and explained the bill.
