4:00 5. Long-Term Planning – Discussion
Interim Rule 2-2-103
requires each interim committee to devote part of the May interim meeting to
long-term planning. The committee will hear from representatives of the
Department of Corrections, the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, and
the Department of Public Safety on long-term planning issues that their
respective agencies are looking to address.

discuss the eight statutorily required annual reports from various agencies. Which
reports are still valuable to the committee and which reports should be
eliminated as an annual reporting requirement?
