2. Task Force Duties and Introductory Remarks

Task force staff will review the duties of the task force as outlined in 2015 General Session H.B. 444, "Charter School Funding Task Force," and the task force chairs will present their thoughts on issues surrounding charter school funding and the role of the task force.

3. History of Charter School Funding

The task force will hear about the history of charter school funding in Utah and how charter schools are currently funded.

4. Issues for Task Force Review and Legislative Options

The task force will hear about the issues that it is to review and will have the opportunity to discuss the issues and options to address them.

The task force will hear perspectives on the purpose and role of charter schools in the public education system.
