for Selecting State Board of Education Members
In the 2015 General
Session, legislators proposed several pieces of legislation to change Utah’s
method for selecting state board of education members, but ultimately none of
the legislation passed. The committee will hear about unique methods that other
states use for selecting state board of education members and discuss a new
legislative proposal.
