1:05         2.      Federal Risk Corridor Payments – Implications for Utah Carriers

The task force will be briefed on the impact of the federal government’s decision to pay health insurance carriers only 12.6% of their first-year claims under the federal Affordable Care Act’s Risk Corridor Payments program. The task force will be briefed on the impacts to Utah insurers and the markets they serve, including the recent Utah Insurance Department decision to place Arches Health Plan in receivership and terminate its plans by the end of the year.

1:40         3.      Medicaid Expansion — Montana

The task force will review Montana’s plan to expand Medicaid eligibility.

2:10         4.      Substance Abuse Treatment Fraud

As follow-up to its October 22 meeting, the task force will consider proposals to address fraudulent or questionable billing practices by certain substance abuse treatment providers.

3:10         5.      Medicaid Dental Coverage
