review and consider recommending draft legislation that amends various sections
of the Utah code that are
impacted by 2015 new definition of a veteran.

Legislation: "Veteran License Plates Amendments"
The commission will
review changes, based on new information, to the license plate bill that was
recommended by the commission in the November 20, 2015, meeting. The
commission, if it supports those changes, will need to vote on the bill again
as commission recommended legislation.

Services Interstate Compact"
The commission will
review and consider recommending draft legislation that approves Utah's
participation in an
interstate compact for emergency medical services providers.

Death Benefit Amendments"

Income Tax Exemption"
The commission will
review and consider draft legislation that provides an exemption of military
retirement pay from state income taxes.

The commission will
hear a presentation about draft legislation that would provide tuition waivers
to members and dependents of the Utah National Guard and Reserve under certain
conditions.
