Section 63C-4a-303 requires the Commission on Federalism to report to the committee twice each year on: 1) action taken by the commission; and 2) action taken by the commission, or communication received from certain public officials in response to a request or inquiry made by the commission.

Section 63C-14-301 requires the Federal Funds Commission to report to the committee on the commission's findings and recommendations.

Section 63I-4a-203 requires the Free Market Protection and Privatization Board to report to the committee on an annual basis.

5.   Draft Legislation “Disposition of Ballots Amendments”

The committee will discuss draft legislation “Disposition of Ballots Amendments,” which requires an elections officer to notify a voter when the voter’s absentee ballot is rejected.

6.   Plurality

The committee will discuss a concept proposal to address the issue of a candidate being elected by a plurality rather than a majority of voters.
