Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.


1. H.B. 100 Institutions of Higher Education Disclosure Requirements (Coleman, K.)


Rep. Kim F. Coleman explained the bill. 


Mr. Spencer Jenkins, Assistant Commissioner, Utah System of Higher Education, spoke in favor of the bill.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Owens moved to amend H.B. 100 with Amendment #1.

1.    Page 3, Lines 75 through 79:   

 

75to the following information maintained by the board in accordance with Subsection (3):

76   (i) job placement data;

77   (ii)

  to the extent supporting data is available,  
student loan information;

78   (iii) total costs; and
