Acting Chair Stephenson called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m.

 

Sen. Iwamoto moved to approve the minutes of the February 2, 2017, meeting. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-2.Voting in the affirmative were: Sen. Millner, Sen. Adams, Sen. Hillyard, Sen. Iwamoto, Sen. Stephenson. Absent or not voting were: Sen. Henderson, Sen. Niederhauser

 

1. S.B. 117 Higher Education Performance Funding (Millner, A.)

 

Sen. Ann Millner explained the bill.

 

MOTION:     Chair Millner moved to replace S.B. 117 with 1st Substitute S.B. 117. The motion passed with a vote of 7-0-0.

MOTION:     President Niederhauser moved to pass 1st Substitute S.B. 117 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 7-0-0.
