Acting Chair Hinkins called the meeting to order at 8:35 AM.
1. H.B. 47 Early Childhood Coordination Amendments (Snow, V. L.)
Rep. V. Lowry Snow presented the bill.
Ms. Nicholeen Peck, President, Utah Empowered Families Coalition, expressed concerns with the bill.
Mr. Kory M. Holdaway, KMH Consulting, representing the Utah Private Childcare Association, spoke in favor of the bill.
Ms. Anna Thomas, Policy Analyst, Voices for Utah Children, spoke in favor of the bill.
Ms. LeAnn Wood, Education Commissioner, Utah PTA, spoke in favor of the bill.
