This legislation requires the Governor to consider cost-of-living adjustments for contractual service providers to the Divisions of Child and Family Services and Youth Corrections. The fiscal impact of the bill would be dependent upon action beyond "consideration". For example, if these providers had been included in the FY 1998 compensation pool, the total cost would have increased by $1,159,500 in General Fund and $424,900 in Federal Funds.
