Unless rejected or lowered by the Legislature, this bill automaticlly increases legislators' pay in odd numbered years equal to the recommendation of the Leglislative Compensation Commission in even numbered years. The cost of this increase if recommended by the Commission, based on the Commission's 1998 report would be $127,700 from the General Fund for FY 2001.
