This bill appropriates $200,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Health in FY 2000. It is unknown if this will be too much or too little funding to cover any individual who meets the criteria for the smoking cessation medication. Inasmuch as this appears to be an ongoing program, the Analyst assumes that the required funding will be ongoing.
