If 10 percent of the filings now being made under applicable provisions of the statutes cited involved computers, additional court costs would be estimated at $1,900. Corrections costs are assumed to be minimal since most, if not all of the offenders will be under other charges and sentencing. Revenues from disposition of forfeited computer equipment are thought to be marginal. Alternatively some computer equipment acquired in this manner may revert to the computers for schools program and benefit local schools.
