If one-third of the current abstracts now filed with the courts go to the counties, the State would loose $149,900 in General Fund revenue. The counties would concurrently see an increase in revenue which may not cover costs. Some State agencies may see increased costs in filing liens in those counties that cannot accommodate electronic filing. The Office of Recovery Services would be one of the largest of these with over 322,000 liens per year. Added cost to ORS is estimated at $55,600 in General Funds and $108,000 in Federal matching Title IV-D Funds.
