HB0141 - Motorboat Drivers Licensing Requirements

State Impact:
With almost 60,000 "boat" households in the State this bill would create 27,000 applications for boat endorsements per year. Cost to the Driver License Bureau are estimated at $166,800 with approximately $156,300 in Revenue to the Transportation Restricted - Public Safety Fund to cover those costs. Costs to the Parks and Recreation Division are estimated at an additional $1,800, but those costs would be offset by fees generating a like amount in Dedicated Credits.
