HB0178s1 - Penalties for Under Age Possession of Tobacco

State Impact:
For the cases going to the State Juvenile Court, those cases formerly held by a hearings officer would have to be seen by a judge. Additional cost to the courts is approximately $48,300. Revenue from 2,000 reinstatements (fee) would be $50,000 to the Transportation Restricted-Public Safety. Costs for Drivers License processing and mailing would be approximately $8,900 in the first year and $6,400 thereafter.
