HB0290 - Tobacco Prevention Funding

State Impact:
This bill requires that the available interest earnings from the permanent state trust fund be appropriated to the Department of Health. These earnings are estimated at $429,800 in FY 2002 and $617,800 in FY 2003.

Individual and Business Impact:
Those entities which receive grant funds from these additional funds would benefit from additional business.
