HB0296 - Election Law Commission

State Impact:
Passage of this bill would transfer the existing elections base of $662,800 into the newly created Elections Commission. New costs for legal and technical staff support, and additional resources such as office equipment necessary to set up the office in the amount of $208,700 would need to be appropriated. The estimated amount assumes that existing elections office space at the Capitol would be able to be utilized for the Elections Commission.

No fiscal impact.
