SB0235 - Credit Union and Association Conversions

State Impact:
Any additional effort required by the provisions of this bill could be absorbed within existing budgets.
Individual and Business Impact:
Passage of this bill would authorize credit unions to increase the products and services they offer and to expand their market area. There are parameters including membership, assets, and capital which, when limitations were exceeded, the credit union would be required to convert to become a taxable entity.
