State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Penalties imposed by Section 7 of this bill may result in revenue to the General Fund equal to $2,500 more per violation up to $100,000 per excavation. Penalties imposed by Section 8 of this bill may result in revenue to the General Fund equal to $10,000 per day per violation up to $500,000 per series of violations. The Public Service Commission cannot project the number of violations that will occur per year. There has been one such violation in the past three years.
