Fiscal Note - State of Utah - 2012 General Session

HB0076 - Pharmacy Audit Rights

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could reduce the amounts collected by PEHP from audit findings by up to $65,000 per year attributable to the state risk pool. Reduced collections could result in lower fund balances. To the extent that fund balances reduce rates, state costs could be impacted.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
To the extent that lower audit findings impact fund balances and rates, local governments could experience benefits cost increases.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents or businesses.
