State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enacting this bill will result in ongoing court, incarceration, and supervision costs of $62,400 in FY 2014 and $122,400 in FY 2015 from the General Fund. Costs will increase each year until FY 2018 when ongoing costs from the General Fund will be $219,900. General Fund revenue collections from criminal penalties will be approximately $1,000 annually for a net General Fund cost of $61,400 in FY 2014 and $121,400 in FY 2015.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
An estimated 6 offenders per year will be jailed for about 17 days each for a total cost to county jails of $6,500 annually.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
An average of 2 offenders annually will pay $500 in penalties for a total of $1,000 ongoing General Fund revenue.
