HB0105 - Serious Youth Offender Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill will cost the Division of Juvenile Justice Services $244,800 ongoing from the General Fund for additional serious youth offender placements beginning in FY 2014 accompanied by an additional $800 in associated costs funded with federal funds. Enactment of this bill will save the Division of Finance $32,900 and the Department of Corrections $5,100 ongoing from the General Fund for additional serious youth offender placements not taking place in the adult system beginning in FY 2014. Enactment of this bill will cost the Division of Juvenile Justice Services $367,200 ongoing from the General Fund for additional serious youth offender placements in FY 2015 accompanied by an additional $1,200 in associated costs funded with federal funds. Enactment of this bill will save the the Division of Finance $49,200 and the Department of Corrections $7,700 ongoing from the General Fund for additional serious youth offender placements not taking place in the adult system in FY 2015.
