Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
By increasing the number of assessments performed by teachers and local education agencies (LEAs), enactment of this bill may result in costs associated with training teachers. The costs represent spending an estimated 2 hours being trained on dyslexia screening while not performing other duties or being paid a stipend at an estimated $50 per teacher.
