HB0230 - Emergency Vehicle Operators Training Requirements

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Presuming the Department of Public Safety's role is limited to evaluating and certifying private emergency vehicle operators training courses, the cost of enacting this bill will be limited to certification of emergency vehicle operators employed by the state. Such cost will depend upon rules to be promulgated by the Department of Public Safety under this bill.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Local governments that employ emergency vehicle operators may incur costs for new certification requirements established in this bill. The cost of such certification will depend upon rules to be promulgated by the Department of Public Safety under this bill.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Private emergency vehicle operators may incur costs for new certification requirements established in this bill. The cost of such certification will depend upon rules to be promulgated by the Department of Public Safety under this bill..
