State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill will avoid a one-time General Fund cost of $30,000 that would otherwise occur under current law. The savings would accrue to the Department of Public Safety for avoided computer programming expenses.
In addition, enactment of this bill will cost the Division of Finance $3,000 ongoing from the General Fund to annually update financial information for certain government entities.
