Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Depending on the school and local education agency, enactment of this bill may save an average of about $15 per textbook; if a given school or local education agency does not have the technology upfront, local education agencies may see increased costs for technology purchases, with the initial purchase either wholly or partially offset by reduced ongoing textbook costs.
