Enactment of this bill will increase General Fund revenue by approximately $2,800 every even numbered year through fines levied on poltical party candidates who fail to file a proper financial diclosure report on time.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Every even numbered year, political party candidates who are required to be certified by a political party and who fail to file a proper financial disclosure report on time will be fined $500. All other candidates will be fined $100 for failure to file a proper financial disclosure report on time.
