Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Vendors will not be allowed to impose a surcharge on transactions for $10,000 or less paid for with a financial transaction card. Some individuals may receive savings on transactions paid for by means other than a financial transaction card.
