SB0134 - Utah Performance Assessment System for Students (u-pass) Amendments
State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
This bill eliminates the Utah Basic Skills Competency Test which costs $1,500,000 to run, and replaces it with the Utah Performance Assessment System for Students (U-PASS) which costs $2,200,000 to run. The bill appropriates the $700,000 difference from the Education Fund to the State Board of Education.
