State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
This bill costs the state approximately $29,800 ongoing General Fund and $70,200 federal funds beginning in FY 2014 to buy insurance to cover the costs of a data breach for the state�s health care providers who have provider agreements with Medicaid within the Departments of Health and Human Services.

Local governments who are health care providers with provider agreements with Medicaid must buy insurance to cover the costs of a data breach.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
All health care providers who have provider agreements with Medicaid must buy insurance to cover the costs of a data breach.
