HB0059 - School Board Elections Provisions

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill may increase statewide election costs by up to $550,000 every four years beginning FY 2015.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill may increase local governments' costs of running elections by up to 2.3 million every four years beginning in FY 2015. Revenues from candidate filing fees may increase by up to $8,000 every four years beginning in FY 2015.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents or businesses.
