HB0169 - Licensing Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill would increase revenue to the Commerce Service Fund by $3,500 in FY 2014 and by $5,900 in FY 2015. Costs to the Department of Commerce to implement the provisions of the bill would be $700 annually. Spending from the Commerce Service Fund affests annual transfers to the General Fund.

Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
An estimated 50 individuals will apply for the $70 license established in the bill resulting in a cumulative cost of $3,500. An estimated 50 individual will renew in year two at a cost of $47 for an additional cumulative cost of about $2,400.
