Enactment of this bill likely will not materially impact the state budget. If the Legislature were to transfer functions and responsibilities from the Department of Technology Services (DTS) to the Utah Communications Agency Network (UCAN) as allowed in this bill, certain revenues and expenditures would also transfer.

Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.
