State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill appropriates $6 million from the Transportation Investment Fund of 2005 to the Department of Transportation for allocation to the Utah Transit Authority for free or reduced public transit rides for individuals during January and July of calendar year 2014.

Enactment of this bill allocates $6 million to the Utah Transit Authority for a clean air public transit pilot program.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill may reduce the cost for individuals utilizing public transit during January and July of calendar yaer 2014. The estimated savings for each month is approximately $276,000.
