HB0045 - In-state Tuition for Military Servicemembers and Veterans

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill may reduce tuition collections at Utah System of Higher Education institutions. The amount would be determined by the number of qualified individuals who request resident student status and the institution's tuition rates. The amount is not expected to be significant.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill will benefit military individuals who qualify for the resident tuition rates. Other than those individuals, enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents or businesses.
