HB0063 - Recall Elections Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
If a recall election took place during an otherwise scheduled election, implementation of this bill would not result in additional costs. If a statewide special election were called solely for the purpose of a recall election, implementation of this bill would cost the Lt. Governor's Office approximately $330,000.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
If a recall election took place during an otherwise scheduled election, implementation of this bill would not result in additional costs. If a statewide special election were called solely for the purpose of a recall election, implementation of this bill would cost the counties approximately $2.3 million.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents or businesses.
