State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill requires the state to defend and indemnify certain local government officers or their agents should the federal government take action against them. To the extent that the federal government does so, it could cost the Attorney General's office approximately $157,000 per year for a full-time attorney and associated expenses.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable expenditures by Utah residents or businesses.
