State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill requires the Attorney General to consult with local government officers and prepare a notice to the federal government detailing legal steps that may follow. To the extent that the federal government takes action against local government officers or their agents, it could cost the Attorney General's office approximately $157,000 per year for a full-time attorney and associated expenses to review and investigate matters.
