HB0176 - Food Handler Permit Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not materially impact the state budget.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Local health departments will lose about $1,500 in revenue for food handler permits and food safety managers and have less costs for issuing 100 permits.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Businesses providing food handler and safety manager training will lose about $1,300 in revenue and provide less training to 100 individuals. About 100 individuals will not have to pay $25 to $85 for a total of $2,800 for food hander and safety manager permits and training.
