State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
This bill requires the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) to evaluate air pollution controls at permitted facilities once every eight years and identify the availability of additional air pollution controls to reduce emissions. This could cost DAQ $727,800 ongoing from the General Fund beginning in FY 2015 for one section manager, one office technician, and five level-3 engineers to perform reviews and identify controls and $7,000 one-time from the General Fund in FY 2015 for computers and office equipment.

The annual cost is approximately $15.4 million for all permitted facilities in a given year (approximately 125 facilities). The cost for a full eight-year cycle is approximately $123.0 million for all permitted facilities (approximately 1000 facilities).
