State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could cost $18,800 one-time from the General Fund in FY 2014 for information technology programming of the disclosure.utah.gov website. The program will report and track contributions to candidates, and fine information when candidates are in violation of the provisions of this bill. Fine revenue from this bill would be remitted to the General Fund.
Beginning FY 2015, enactment of this bill could increase dedicated credit revenue to the Lt. Governor's office by about $5,000 per year.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Candidates for state, legislative, and school board office, as well as any political action committee, political issues committee, and judge that fails to report contributions or public service assistance within the required time period of this bill, would be subject to a fine of at least $50. The number of fines and the total impact the state could expect is indeterminate.
Enactment of this bill could increase the cost for individuals to obtain a lobbyist license by about $5,000 state-wide. It is estimated that about 500 Individuals will pay an additional $10 for a lobbyist license per year.
