HB0248S01 - Crime Victims Restitution Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
If more restitution payments are granted as a result of this bill, the Crime Victims Restitution Fund may generate more revenue beginning in FY 2015, however the amount is indeterminable at this time.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill likely will not result in direct, measurable costs for local governments.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
If more restitution payments are granted as a result of this bill, offenders will pay more in restitution costs. Conversely, victims of crime will collect more in restitution payments.
